Elfis has arrived! Elfcapades: Day 1 with our new Magic Elf.
We woke up this morning and came downstairs to find our new visitor has already come to stay! He’s here so early. Again, it’s not even Thanksgiving yet! He must have been so excited to meet us that he just couldn’t wait any longer!
Well, he must be magic for sure. He managed to get into our house without setting off the alarm. But we didn’t see him at first. We only knew he was here because we found what he left for us on the kitchen table: hot cocoa, mini elf-sized donuts, and a note. (Boy, does he have terrible handwriting!)
So, he’s here now. I’m not too sure about his idea of a quality breakfast. Natalie & I drank the cocoa, but Cooper did not care for it. The donuts? Well, they were tiny. And messy. But the white ones sure were good! And Cooper ate ALL of the mini-marshmallows before we could even make the cocoa!
Here’s a close-up. He’s kinda small.
But good thing he’s high up there. Cooper kept asking me to get him down, but we had to remind Cooper that we can’t touch the Elf. If we touch him, he might lose his magic and will have to return to the North Pole. We definitely don’t want that. (Well, maybe if he starts causing trouble, but we’ll see about it then.)
For now, he seems to be ok.
And oh yeah, he has a name now. Please welcome our newest (seasonal) family member: Elfis. 🙂
