Elfcapades 2012: Day 13
Elfis never rests. Or maybe he does, just a little bit. This morning, I found him hiding in a bowl of candy canes:
I’m not sure if he was trying to catch a few z’s, if he was hiding, or if he just thought it was a good lookout spot. Either way, now we have candy canes to munch on, because those were not here before! (Thanks, Elfis!) 🙂
This afternoon, Elfis decided to bring in a little more of the outdoor Christmas decor. We not only have outdoor icicle lights strung across our living room now, but also a lighted penguin and inflatable polar bear.
The kids were happy to find Elfis perched on top of the polar bear’s stocking:
It took a while for us to get all three kids smiling for the camera though. Bennett might not have been too sure about the giant polar bear, or maybe he was scoping out Elfis for a minute?
Tomorrow’s the official decorating day (I hope), so maybe we can get this all straightened out. No more outdoor holiday decorations IN the house. A tree and ornaments, yes. The rest goes outside. Wish us luck!

Gee——when I saw that it was Day 13 I was almost afraid to read and see what had happend for the day but not really too bad, considering. I’ll bet Natalie is glad to be back in Bothell and able to take part in the tree decorating and the antics of Elfis. Love the pictures of the 3 of them. Remember they can start opening the Advent Calendars tomorrow. And then put their new ornaments on the tree. Have a great day tomorrow. Love the GGma
