Elfcapades 2012: Day 18

Well, it’s a Wednesday and that means as with all weekdays, we don’t have much time in the mornings.  Cooper insisted on searching for Elfis before we left today, and as he usually does, he went to the last few places he remebers seeing him.  Unfortunately for Cooper, Elfis has never been found in a place where he was before.  So, that method is not working out very well.  (But Cooper’s two, and a creature of habit, so we’ll just let him keep looking there first.  No big deal.)

Since we couldn’t find Elfis this morning in any obvious places, Cooper was even more determined when we got home this afternoon.  We searched the entire downstairs, high and low.  Cooper thought Elfis was inside a candle (though I have NO idea why), so we checked and didn’t find him there.  Then we checked in the tree, and Cooper paused quick enough to snatch up a candy cane.  (Thanks, Elfis, for the daily candy cane snack.)

We finally found him in the family room, and it looks like he was having a bit of fun today.  He made a new buddy, Mr. Snowman, and they were taking advantage of some baby gear:

Yep, that’s Elfis and a snowman jumping around in the Jumparoo!  Thank goodness the sound was turned off because that thing is obnoxious!    At least this is fun that keeps him out of trouble!

Cooper didn’t think it was a good idea though (of course).  He told Elfis that this was Bennett’s, and that he needed to get out.  HA!

boy it is getting late even for me. It has been a long day but nice to end it with the Martinson family report for the day on the escapades of Sir Elfis. Sounds like maybe he was tired and just wanted to sit around or maybe bounce around. I suppose he will really be up to something BIG tomorrow. Don’t know what I will do for evening entertainment once Chistmas is over and Elfis returns to the North Pole. Hmmmmmmmmmmmmm.Love GGma
