Snow Day (2.9.14)

I know, I know.  I’m totally late at posting this.  But that’s what happens when you have a full time job, two busy (i.e.: crazy!) kids, and life in general.  No time to update the blog.

So here we are, a couple months late, but we had such a fun day that I wanted to make sure I recorded it even now.

On this beautiful Saturday in February, we finally had a nice day of snow where we didn’t have to work and had time to play and enjoy the snow.  The kids all had a blast: Bennett’s first snow (we didn’t have but a tiny trace last winter!), Cooper learned how to make a snowball, sled rides through the backyard, and a snowman – what a fun morning!

Cooper wanted to make a snowball so bad, but he said he didn't know how.

Gotta pack it tight!

Bennett's first time in the snow and he did great! (Big change from the last time we had a small trace of snow & he wouldn't even step out of the garage!)

Yes, he's eating more snow. Again. Seems he found a nice stash of clean snow on the stairs.

Time for a sled ride!

The boys loved the sled.

And even after a quick turn on the sled and the kids flying off to get a face and hat full of snow, Bennett still wanted more. He kept saying "Again, please daddy." So sweet - love it!

Me & Bikko checking out a tiny snowball, trying to decide whether it's better to throw or eat. (I'm pretty sure he chose to eat it, by the way.)

That was it.  Our only snow day this winter.  But we had a perfect time!
